The course was recorded using Kafka Streams 0.11. When Kafka Streams 1.0 was introduced, unfortunately some APIs were deprecated.

The knowledge you’ll gain in the course is the exact same for Kafka Streams 0.11 or 1.x, but there are few code changes to perform to make the code perfectly work with Kafka Streams 1.x. I have performed all the code changes that are needed to use Kafka Streams 1.x in the GitHub repository.

Once you’re done downloading, decompress the zip files.
